bradymartin
with coupon code at frys electronics i can get a pair of the r-14m for $89 wondering if these are too bright for desktop speakers, or dont have enough bass. will use for streaming music and youtube, nothing more. so dont want a sub
derrickdj1
These speakers have a 4 or 4 1/2 in. woofer which should be plenty for a desktop speaker. A small 8 in. sub can always be added if needed. They stop at around 64 Hz and we don't know if you are looking for more since personal taste vary.
bradymartin
i was wondering if the treble on the r14s is harsh. i have listened to the rp160s and the treble seemed just right. i like bright speakers but ive read klipsch speakers other than the reference premiere are extremely bright, too bright. BlessedPrince
I think the 14's sound good. But I used mine in a big space. I'm very happy with the premier line. Very musical IMO. I'd go with the 160's personally. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
