BigStewMan
back in the late 70s, when i was on a ship in the Coast Guard, I used a cardboard milk cartoon as a speaker cabinet. Can’t recall the exact size; but, anyone in the military or for that matter, familiar with those milk dispensers in a cafeteria will know what i’m talking about. A box probably about 18” tall and 10” wide ... When you’re underway -- you improvise.

Around 1970, my best friends brother built a pair of speakers from aluminum trash cans stuffed with fiberglass....we listened to John Mayall, Stevie Wonder and the Allman Bros for days.....
JJkizak
I've listened to those cubes. I think the only time I would consider building one is during WW III. JJK

Well if the kit sell for that price why do the finished speaker cost so much ? It all must be in that terrific sub that comes with a set ?
