ratcobob
Lit up a new power source this week that the new LS pair will probably live under. Supposed to pay for itself in 5 years.

My others are full width openings. Xovers are AA but my others had electric motor start/run capacitors unlike these. I'll go pick them up later this week. I have two Nutrek connectors and I need some advice on how to test the Inuke. Dave, use diagram on back of amp for stereo or bidge mono connection to Neutrik connectors and speaker wire. Get TS adapter for unbalanced and TSR for balance connecti to sub cable to ch A for bidge connection or a spliter Y connector if two speakers/subs will be connected.
codewritinfool
Shipment confirmation on a UMIK-1.
pbphoto
I picked up a UMIK-1 about 6 weeks ago. Been playing around with it and REW software. I'm still learning, but the combo has helped me dial-in my La Scala II's and subs. Well worth $95 IMHO.
Schu
I need a mic... where did you get yours?
pbphoto
I ordered mine from minidsp.com - $75 plus $20 shipping from HK. After it arrives, you can go back to their website, look up your mic's serial number, and download the calibration files for it that plug right into REW. I'm going to start with REW, maybe try the trial version of Dirac Live (30 days) and if it works as advertised, I might try a minidsp DDRC-22A. Possibly due to the top being screwed down, with doghouse access under the mid horn. My '73 La Scala type K-447 are built the same way. MookieStl
Got a pair if LSI splits this week! A little easier to move around than my other LS, but still heavy little buggers. Had to work in the shop all weekend and had these cranking! Helped make the time go faster. Got lots of stuff done! Got 'em from another great forum member! No shortage of you guys out there!

MookieStl
Based on the photo quality, I would say my next purchase should be a new iphone, but I already have one, it's been sitting on my desk for a month. Been way to crazy around here to get it synced up! They look better in person and sound - Great!
Schu
I love pro la scalas... one of the prettiest klipsch speakers I have seen is a pro la scala with aluminum frames and raw birch. Congrats

That setup makes woofer access more complicated, but the removable tops make access to the crossovers very straightforward.
