WOW --------Look at all the Shiit gear , that's a lot of shiit  you have there
Yeah, and I gotta say......this stuff is the real deal. This company makes some real solid gear and sounds great. Very good to deal with.

I would suggest separating the Vidar amps for good air flow around the heat sinks.

I have been using a Vidar in bridge mode for my sub with excellent results.

I was joking about the fire but actually was considering separating them a little. Think I'll do it right now....

I assumed as much 😄

One of several reasons I chose the Vidar was its protection features.. (which includes overheating 😄)

Also excellent build quality while also using US suppliers as much as possible and Assembled in USA..!!!

What sub are you powering with the Vidar? I'm gonna consider a third Vidar to power my two horn loaded subs in stereo mode. These subs don't need a lot of power.....I'm thinking the power from the Vidar might be perfect. Subs are Bill Fitzmaurice THTLP's.

Picked up a really nice pair of 1980 Heresys, raw birch with a medium stain.  Lady bought them new in 1980 when she was in college.  One had its original box and styrofoam and the other just the original styrofoam.

I'll be using them as my mains and using one of my 81 Heresys as a center.

Can't wait to get everything moved around and hooked up!

Crites has good affordable new crossovers

and new gaskets for the horn drivers

Check the internal wires for dry rot

Maybe a piece of batting from the fabric store to lay in the bottom

Some people turn the woofers upside down to fight gravity

Wipe on Watco oil natural per directions

Crites and others sell replacement tweeters, I haven't heard them

Thanks.  I think I've made about a dozen purchases from Bob in my life.  🙂

when I joined the forum, Bob posted regularly. Haven't seen a post in a long while. I should probably upgrade my Heresy's ... untouched since I bought them in 1984.

I am very satisfied with the Crites crossovers in my H1s,  purchased by me late 70s

Had dry rotted wires and gaskets on the compression drivers

Have been using a Dayton DTA-120 with my Heresy speakers, but wanted to try something different.

Too bad Emo got out of the DAC business, they were the Industry innovator with the XDA 1

I think you will like the emo.

Food for thought

I picked up a Pioneer VSX 4900S 1991 surround amp the other day for $14

It was the TOTL stereo receiver  for pioneer that year with the surround grafted on

I'm using it with Heresys

By chance I have a collection of these from various Mfgs that were the Statement product of their year

HK, Yammys, Pioneer, Sony .

Some have great tuner sections, room EQ correction on the newer ones

Some I paid zero for. For a couple of hundred bucks and some patience, you can get a good variety each has a personality.

If you want to experience a lot of different statement receivers look in the 1990-2005

Just turn off all of the surround features, hit the direct button if they have one

I might pick up an HK and another Yamaha after Christmas if the seller still has them, $60 for both

YMMV
