When I had my OLD CRT TV, I had the Academy on top of the TV. If you look closely, you can see the TV stand hanging over the edge of the stand. There is no way I would put the TV on top of the Academy. The weight wouldn't be centered and both legs of the TV stand would over-hang the Academy. I had thought of that, though.
