NADman
I've been looking for "nice" pair for many years. Had a pair years ago and loved them but it was always on to newer, bigger and better then. Boxes are marked "heavy" by Canada Post. I'm to bushed to unpack them today. More tomorrow.
JohnJ
Can't make them out. What kind/type of speakers are those @NADman ?

I haven't hooked them up yet. They are way bigger and heavier than I remembered. 5

I moved from where the seller is now (within 10 miles) a few years ago, and seller moved from where I am now (within a few miles). But we are over a 1000 miles apart. Great deal on speakers but a Bit-h in shipping cost. All in all, Happy.

yamahaSHO
More of the same for me... Car parts... I tried to like the OEM brakes with upgraded pads, but just didn't like them. With my AutoX wheels/tires, I couldn't even activate ABS and the brake feel wasn't great.

yamahaSHO
Picked up something new for my shop. I have been using a Denon sound bar for the last couple years, which was actually doing fine, but I had the bug. I picked up some The Fives, even after reading about all their issues. Good thing I did all that reading, as these didn't work out of the box and I had to grab a thumb drive and update the firmware. Still can't get the app to connect. It just keeps taking me back to my Bluetooth connections, where I'm already showing connected. I generally avoid Klipsch electronics, outside of crossovers. That said, they sound decent and I'll give it a week. I have the sub I built in 1995 (updated in 2011) hooked up to it as I did with my sound bar. EDIT: Got it to connect to the app. Apparently the "The Fives" app that was linked on the webpage doesn't work. The Klipsch Connect app does work and it said the firmware was up to date. I'm guessing the first person who bought these updated them with just the app and skipped USB and made them inoperable. Seems to be $350 well spent for brand new The Fives (I bought it as an "open box" item). EDIT 2: I have been enjoying just having music play again. The Denon sound bar I had was pretty decent, but I never listed to music on it, just had the TV/Movie going in the background. Now I am putting on music again.

yamahaSHO
So... I actually forgot I bought these a year and a half ago. We were in the middle of a remodel and the box got put upstairs with a lot of other storage. Anyway, I have a set of ALK CSW-450's to try! I want to find if I like these or my Crites A-4500's and then sell the ones I do not keep in the speakers... Which, holy crap... Crites has sky rocketed in prices! I guess I have what would be called "gold" now.

LSI are a bit more effort to put them in.
