tigerwoodKhorns
PM Sent. I have JBL 2404's to go with these. They should go down to 4,000. Moray, any issue with them being 8 ohms? I will be building crossovers from scratch (I have transformers). The use is K Horns of La Scalas with a Type A or ALK Jr.
moray james
I am not well versed in xover design but I don't think the impedance will pose any issues, you could check with Community and see what the cost is for a 16ohm set of diaphragms. system efficiency will be set by the least efficient driver which is most often the woofer. tigerwoodKhorns
Thanks. I's pretty sure it is just different capacitors as different values will be inputted into the equations. I think that I read a post where you said that you had customers use the JBL 2404's with these and they were very happy.
