Just a heads up for those of you looking for a nice AVR, the Marantz SR-6011 is now being sold on Amazon for $1000.  It was $1400 a week ago.  This is one step down from the flagship 7011 and at $1400 was $800 cheaper.  The new models are about to come out so I'm guessing that's why the price drop.

They have it priced at $849.99 - WITH a 3 year warranty.

The website says ONE year warranty, which is consistent with other A4L refurbs that I've seen.  That unit is a Marantz factory refurb.

Buying a Marantz Factory Refurbished product is a great way to get "as-new" products at a considerable savings. Every product has been thoroughly tested, repaired (if necessary), cleaned and otherwise renewed to original condition. Next it’s repackaged with original accessories included. When you consider that a factory-renewed Marantz product undergoes such close scrutiny for defects and workmanship, you might actually be buying something that is in many ways better than new. And for your piece of mind and protection, your purchase is covered by a full 1 year parts and labor warranty valid at any authorized Marantz repair center

There is an option for purchasing a 2 year extended warranty (two years total) for 50 bucks.

It's not free shipping, but shipping looks pretty reasonable.

Technically, they are crediting you back the $64.99 cost of the 3 year "protection plan" at checkout - still results in a free 3 year warranty.

Either way, new for $1000 or $850 through A4L, a pretty good deal to consider.

Thanks for sharing.

Nice detective work.  There is contradictory info listed, but your screenshot of checkout explains things clearly.

It is listed as a Marantz factory refurb, but I'm with you, great product, great price, and a 3 year warranty, just like factory.
