CHASLS2
Got my 65" A1E OLED up and running. It is a big jump compared to Plasma. If i ever get a UHD player i am sure the set will be even more of a killer.

I really do like the OLED sets, but I'll hang with my plasma for now. $2800 is too rich for me right now. Besides, I'm chasing more heritage speakers. Schu
You didn't get an a1e for 2800$... even a c7 is about 2700-2800. Sometime in November c7's should be well under 2500$ and maybe close to 2000$. 2500$ was always going to be my purchase point, but now there is a lot of talk about the coming 8k monitors... jump now or jump later? I might wait now and see what shakes out in the next year, unless I can get a c7 for under 2000$.

My current one had a problem years out of warranty and they replaced it for free. They have my loyalty for that. There were two on my local CL. He said Sony replaced a set he bought and he got the A1E and then just did not want it. He had it for sale on CL for $3500. But at Celevland Plasma they go new for $3300. for a $65".
