BJT
My R-115SW bought April 2016 now is (a) not working and (b) just emits a constant clicking sound, like a metronome, when plugged in. Doesn't stop if I disconnect everything else (audio in, etc) or change any switches or settings. Just clicks when plugged in, by itself. I really like the sub and the look. If anyone has ideas please let me know. I suspect since it's over a year old it's off warranty and if it's really died I won't be buying another Klipsch. FYI the only thing connected to it was a McIntosh amp and I barely had the sub on at any level because I don't crank music. Brian
CECAA850
The amp has a 2 year warranty. If you are the original owner and bought from an authorized dealer I would look into having it repaired oder warranty.
Rogue
I once had a speaker clicking because flourscent lights were in the vicinity. Plugged it into a power conditioner and the clicking stopped. If it really is clicking with a constant cadence it may be electrical interference...but it may not. Just my $.
BJT
Thanks for the responses. I bought it through Amazon but they weren't the actual supplier, which was "AudioSurplus". I've emailed Amazon on how to get warranty service. The one thing I noticed on the Klipsch site is it says shipping is the "sole responsibility of the original retail purchaser" -- that really sucks since the thing weighs almost 90 lbs. If it's the amp, that's all you send. They're easy to remove and much lighter than the entire sub.
