The subwoofer turns off when the bass approaches engaging the cone.  The bass will work until the lower frequencies are engaged.  I have the cord attached to th Left/Lfe side.  I’m pushing it with a Yamaha Aventage 3060.  I also hooked it up to a Pioneer receiver.  On both systems I played movies, music via disk and apple devices, games, and tried all of these in Surround Decode as well as other programs.  No matter the device, the decibels sent from the receiver, nor the manual setting on the bass, could produce the low frequencies without shutting down the bass.   I’m not talking ultra-low frequencies, just any frequency that visibly engages the cone.

Any ideas what might cause this?  Seems like a protection prematurely engaging, but I’m not sure.  I have an open ticket with warranty, but any pointer while I wait for responses?  Thanks!
