T2K
Three (3) Taco Bell employees pull guns and kill robber in Cleveland. http://pittsburgh.cbslocal.com/2017/09/07/taco-bell-employees-shoot-robber/ 1
-js-
this too is sad that crime has become as 'commonplace' as it seems to me that it is today. that said, bravo for the employees who opened fire. I'm laughing my @$$ off that they shot the one guy 6 times. what was the theme of the Tony Blake series Baretta ... 'don't do the crime of you can't do the time'? Ceptorman
I'm not crazy about armed fast food workers.....I wonder what Taco Bell's position is on this?
-js-
yeah, armed fast food workers = at least food for thought I got a kick out this from the article: A Taco Bell spokeswoman told Cleveland.com the company is “shocked” by the shooting and is offering counseling to employees. I thought to myself 'counseling, on what topics - concealed vs open carry? if you carry, we don't want to know about it. you should check your personal legal/civil liabilities if you do carry'...

Good point. What would happen if a worker there tried to shoot someone and hit a customer instead? Could you become a TB owner?
-js-
I'm thinking yep, no question about it. the only question is would the former owner become the taco guy in the back at his old place or not?
CECAA850
Most places tell employees to just give them whatever they ask for and comply to the best of their ability. I'd be surprised if TB was any different.
-js-
agreed. years ago when I worked a little in retail & such, that was the approach back then. I doubt that has changed much since then
T2K
Yeah, most companies are primarily worried about the safety of their employees. Employees should comply and let robbers force you into the back room where they can shoot you in the head.
