In the ESPN Power Rankings for week 3 the Lions are #12 the Falconies are #1.

The Broncos jumped from #15 to #7 thanks to thumping the Cowboys.  My Steelers are #3 but I'm not so sure about that defense, although I like rookie TJ Watt, JJ Watt's brother.

 

They are My Steelers because West Virginia does not have any professional teams.  We have to rent our pro teams from other states.

Well, the last place NY Giants embarrassed themselves again on national tv last night. Their offensive line truly was offensive,  resembling a sieve and affording Eli no time to scan the field. Big drop by Brandon Marshall and a stupid penalty on Evan Engram after his first NFL touchdown. The Giants D was respectable as usual, can't blame them for the backbreaking special teams td by the Lions. BTW what was with those ugly uniforms on the Lions? they have one of the classiest uniforms in the NFL and they screwed it up. Yuck.

They didn't complete the whole story. The Browns are favored to win on the road for the first time in 5 years. I predict the Colts will win easily

How many balls did the Giant's receivers drop? Can't keep that up.

All three Watt boys played HS Football 4 miles down the road from me and we went to quite a few of their games.  TJ played QB and defensive end for Pewaukee HS and he was a load.

A good friend's twin boys played against TJ and they say he was the best all around player they ever encountered.  The kid was a great LB at Wisconsin and I was disappointed the Packers passed on him when they took another Badger LB.  Don't know if he can match JJ when healthy.  Very nice family too.
