Schu
If you were going to put to speakers together in a single channel, say two Heresys or two Cornwalls horizontally... would you put them head to head or toe to toe, and why?
YK Thom
I would think head to head to keep the tweeters and midranges in approximately the same space. The bass is less directional.
moray james
bad idea. if you are set on doing so toe to toe will insure maximum inter driver interaction and head to head will provide the least possible driver interaction. heads to head would result in woofer mid tweeter tweeter mid woofer from floor to ceiling. JohnA
Keeping the tweeters as close together as possible will result in less interference between them resulting in smoother response when off axis (less lobing).
