Currently, his condition is still critical but off of life support with no brain activity. Sad that he was ready to spend his time with his granddaughter instead of touring and was wrapping it up. morbella Posted October 2, 2017 Share Posted October 2, 2017 The legendary musician suffered a full cardiac arrest and was found unconscious and not breathing in his Malibu home Sunday night. He was taken to UCLA Santa Monica Hospital and put on life support. LAPD hasn't confirmed the reason of his death. This is really sad, another legend has bid his final goodbye.
