klipsch1
I don't have the money for bells and whistles. I will be content with just clean sound. I don't want to play with adjustments or anything like that. Oh I also have 1 more question. what glue or silicone should I use to seal the bottom cover of the la scales? I spend them up and the old stuff just crumpled to pieces because its all dried up
DizRotus
Any gasket material similar to this. https://www.parts-express.com/parts-express-speaker-gasketing-tape-1-8-x-1-2-x-50-ft-roll--260-542 Weather stripping from a box store would also work. While in there, I would make certain that each woofer is secured by the maximum (8, IIRC) number of screws.
oldtimer
If you send me your address, I might have a spare bell or whistle, free of charge. (I reserve the right to substitute a skull keychain or similar)

Based on my readings of this forum the conventional wisdom is if you listen at very loud levels go ALK, if reasonable level go elsewhere. I ended up Crites. Your mileage may vary. Sorry there OP...Klipsch1.....if you need anything else....you can see how easily a crossover or capacitor thread can go off the rails.....
