bkevind Posted November 17, 2017 Share Posted November 17, 2017 I can't speak to the comparison listed here. I've had my 64ii for a few months now, replacing a very good SVS Ultra center. (and RF-7II that replaced my SVS ultra towers) The 64ii is not dramatically better than the SVS ultra overall, however the realism of voice is where I'm taken aback at times. When my wife is watching a show or movie and I'm in another room of the house - I literally sometimes think she is talking to me, or talking to someone else in the room and have to listen again more carefully to realize it's the show she is watching. I have even gone so far as to respond to her from the other room asking if she said something to me. Never had that experience before with other center speakers. I’m good at tweaking all the good stuff. I was just a little concerned if it would blend in good with my system. I use Pioneer Elite avr's and have not had problem with timer matching. I would say try it, especially if you may upgrade the mains later. You are on the forum often enough over the past several years, that this is most likely not the system that you will live with for the rest of your days, lol.
