jeremy8000 Posted November 27, 2017 Share Posted November 27, 2017 Hello, I had been planning to pick up the R6 Headband Bluetooth earbuds as a holiday gift, but now see that a newer model, the R5, is being introduced, with key differentiators being much smaller profile and neckband, newer and smaller drivers, shorter battery life, and lower MSRP. Are these replacing the R6 in the lineup, or simply adding a new option? How does the sound compare? Lastly, are these anticipated to be available before the holidays? LuluBeans Posted November 28, 2018 Share Posted November 28, 2018 I'd like to know the answer to that myself. I am looking to replace my old X10's, which my stupid dog ate last month. I am really missing them, but I'm thinking about going wireless. I have read that the R6's had problems with the rubber on the controls, so I'm wondering if they've fixed that with the new model.
