WaaX
Hi, I recently bought a pair of R14M speakers for listening to music in the dining room. My wife wants them white to make them blend in the room. Anybody have a tips on the method and the type of paint I should use? I was thinking of going to the hardware store and buying multi purpose spray paint. I'll remove the driver from the cabinet before painting too. Thanks! wuzzzer
Probably best to at least lightly sand them first. I'd be more inclined to use a brush than a rattle can. Easier to control the amount of paint and a lot less mess.
Bigdnfay1
Lightly sand, repair any blemishes, prime with a quality primer(I suggest Sherwin-Williams DTM).Sand again. Then you can use any paint you like. I personally would spray them, but do what you're comfortable with. the quality of the job is all in the prep.
