GregMurray
I am new to the forum. I am aware that this topic has been covered...but stlll would like some feedback. I have recently acquired a pair of 1974 Khorns with the original crossovers intact. I was hoping for some direction for the crossover. I have spoken with Bob Crites ( very knowledgeable and honest) and was hoping to hear back from members who have done changes to the aa crossover. Thanks Greg
CECAA850
Welcome to the forum Greg. The crossovers would benefit from a simple cap replacement. I would do that, then listen to them before I would change anything about the crossover.

JohnA
If, at a later point, you upgrade the tweeters to K-77-M or better, you can disconnect the KLiP tweeter protection. It is the 2 zener diodes that limit the voltage the tweeter can see.
