I am new to this  forum,recently i brought onkyo NR656 av reciever but i can't see Dolby Atoms features on this.

 please advice how to unable this feature.also best cross-over for my system,Currently i am using 100 for all .

RP-440C

R-15

R-10 SW

and four Yamaha satellite speakers.

After setting the Speaker Configuration according to the number of speakers and their positions, the receiver should automatically detect Atmos movies when played through an appropriate source. Have you tried playing an Atmos movie yet?

yes i tried ,i play okja movie from Netflix. This movie have Dolby Atoms.

I place 2 speaker in surround and two in height,also selected 5.1.2 channel.

Welcome to the forums.  100Hz is a bit high for a crossover setting.  Try setting it to 80Hz as that is a good starting point.

I try 80Hz,after this bass is reduced. My LEF also set on 100 HZ

Make sure your Blu-ray player is outputting the audio for bitstream over hdmi

I am not using blu-ray player,i connected my tv audio out to receiver through optical cable.

Unfortunately that won't work.  Optical cable can't deliver a Dolby Atmos signal.  Try configuring the ARC channel over HDMI - even that might be questionable.

Once the receiver detects ATMOS - it will automatically switch.

Good Day All

Hope your doing well .

 I am planing to add one sub or floor standing speakers on my current system,i have RP-440C,R-15 ,R-10 sw and four satellite speakers.

Need your advice on two things.

1. If i want to add second sub woofer on my system  should i use same model  or i can go for upper version as well.

2. Should i buy first floor standing RP-260f or second sub woofer.
