Off the top of my head, Simple Minds, The Cure, Depeche Mode, Devo, Bauhas, Billy Idol, the B52s.

Well so far from that era there is the Talking Heads, Clash, Police, Patti Smith, the Ramones, the Pretenders, the Stooges, the Sex Pistols, Elvis Costello and Blondie.

 

I can't think of any others off the top of my head.

 

 

I would like Roxy Music,  X, Modern Lovers, Television, B52s, Public Image and the Smiths.

I do like the Smiths. Marr is a good guitarist and while some people don’t like Morrisey’s voice, i really do.

Ramones was a no-brainer, and I personally like Elvis Costello.

I’ve never read the criteria for eligibility is there more than just a “time” requirement?
