Bypassing The One’s auto power off?

Hi all — we recently got a new Klipsch The One. We’re thrilled with the sound and build quality, but have encountered something that may end up being a deal breaker.

When the unit has been idle for a couple of hours, it turns itself off and subsequently needs to be turned back on by physically toggling the power switch. We feed it sound via stereo mini connection to an Amazon Echo Dot unit, and so would like The One to remain on constantly so it can announce responses to Echo questions and play music without us having to remember to turn it on first.

We are powering it via the DC adapter. I can understand the unit turning itself off when in battery mode to preserve power, but it seems strange that it would also do this while plugged into power.

Does anyone know if there is some way to disable the auto power off feature, or some other fix for this problem?

Many thanks and happy holidays.

Same issue here with The One II.  I use it in the office and when I turn off my music to take a call, I have to keep going back to the speaker to adjust the volume and "wake it up".  Not a fan.  I'm thinking about opening it up and looking for a way to bypass it if possible...  My other thought was to set up a macro for my keyboard to just turn the volume down to 1 and let it play quietly but then I miss that part of the album...  HELP!

Believe this is still an issue.  Not sure if opening it will get you anywhere as if it is auto turning off and you either have to turn it off and back on or turn the volume back up it sounds like it is a software item.  Put in a service ticket as well and will see what they say if anything but this really kills it for me.  As with others it sounds great...but want to set it and forget it.
