Subwoofer Volume Knob

Hello Klipsch friends. My first time on here. I bought a RSW-12 last week used but in great shape but the volume knob on the right is not working. The sub sounds great but I can't adjust the volume on the big rubber knob. When I turn it up and down, no difference, but when I turn it to around 12 or 1 o'clock, it fades down just a small bit. Can I fix this myself? Is this knob hard to get off? Please help! Thanks!!!

@JaiseS

Just a guess here..... perhaps the control is dis connected? I have RSW-15s and I think the 12 is very similar. The passive radiator in the front behind the grill is easily removed. Then you should be able to check if the volume control is hooked up. Or if it is indeed connected you can un hook it and check it out. If you're not up to it many have had great success with Edwards Electronics for repairing these subs. Find them on Ebay I believe.

I am having the exact same issue. Came here looking for an answer on how to remove the knob. It IS connected. The pot is just shot and i don;t want to break the knob trying to remov it to access the 4 screws that hold it on. Any help would be appreciated by both of us!! Yes I deox'd it. The pot is just done.
