mopardave
Need to check my components for the Super Heresy build. Would anyone know the good values(ohm) for the K77 and K55m drivers? Thanks
Deang
Anything above zero means the diaphragm is good, as well as the voice coil. What you don't want to see is zero - which means you're measuring into a dead short.
babadono
Um yea and you don't want to read an open circuit either.

I was actually wrong twice (something only I can do) - you can still get a "good" reading with a bad voice coil -- if there was just enough heat to burn off the enamel but not enough to burn through the wire. EMRR
They can measure fine and be bad. I have a K55V that has obvious distortion with piano or acoustic guitar recordings, hard to hear with a pumped up rock mix. Do some sort of listening test to the raw parts if you can.
