It is for the two channel lover but will hook up to your television via one of the auxiliary outputs. I may just keep it if no interest. I have the original box and everything is included. As a former rep, I purchased on impulse along with the Super audio player (sold it) but never used them. It was purchased in December 2012 and had been in it's box until I recently tested it.
