Bi Amping

I just want to be sure you understand what bi-amping means:

 

Juxtaposed to what your AVR thinks it means.

 

If what you want to do is what is mentioned in the thread above - it almost certainly will make a difference.  If it's just running to speaker cables to the speaker - no, it will not.  It make actually starve your speakers for power - depending on how your AVR handles the extra terminals.

You might get a *little* more power with that...but you aren't going to benefit any more than what the Emotiva puts out, since it already puts out more than the Maximum input spec of the RF-7's.  You'd be bi-wiring - for the record.  You just aren't going to get any real benefit.  It'd require 600 watts of power for any audible difference in power, and your RF-7's won't take that for prolonged periods as it is.
