problem with my setup?

hello,

here is my setup:

ampli : denon avr-x2200W 
front : r-26f 
center : r-25c 
surround : r-15m 
sub : r-12sw 

 

i tried the multi ch stereo mode (stereo sound played on all speakers), my surround speakers are much more "clear" then my front speakers.

the sound from r-15m is better than r-26f big difference with treebles. it seem that sound coming from r-26f is "muffled"

 

any idea? setup from amplifier ? i don't understand.

Are your front speakers wired correctly, red to red and black to black?  Check that first.

And check the same in the back of the receiver

i checked on speakers and on amplifier polarity and all was good.

i tried "dynamic volume" option in audyssey parameters, even in "light" i get a huge improvment with front speakers in stereo with movies , i didn't test with music and muti ch.

 

another idea ???

Another idea., do you have the latest firmware update installed?

There are a lot of receiver settings that should be turned off if you want the best sound.  All the automatic this and that settings are best disabled.

thanks for reply, it was a setup from my amplifier : dynamic EQ. wen it's activated i get front speakers more bass and surround more treebles, when deactivated all spks sounds better together (multi ch stereo)

 

is this setup better for movies ? having surround speakers louder would be better for the effects?

i tried dynamic volum and i prefer with "ligh" than "off"

 

 

your advise?
