Lost240
The ad says they are in a dry basement..... Look at the bottoms carefully, they have picked up quite a bit of moisture. Not to mention the visible mouse droppings in top horns section. I wonder who is living inside.
-js-
sure. I didn't look that closely since they are in NJ and I'm not. might be a deal for someone looking for a low buy in for a project & potential...
codewritinfool
Looks like a project. How can someone get a beautiful pair of KHorns and banish them to the basement?

I've seen, been, in some "basements" that make my upstairs quarters look terrible in comparison. My KHorns looked great in my basement. There are basements, then there are Basements.! Voomie
New to this forum. Was thinking this could be a fun project. What would be a decent price for these and cost for parts
tidmack
Personally, considering the damage and year of the speakers, I'd already take a pass...

There's no reason to avoid 1986 Klipschorns based on the year of manufacture.

It's personal preference, but the AK-2 networks are just ahead of the AK's as my least favorite. So, for me, factoring in complete network replacement, too, I'd take a pass. I respect your opinion, JMON, but I still think there are better projects out there. Jeff Sent from my SM-G920R4 using Tapatalk
J M O N
Gotcha! I was thinking you didn't like the year more so because of age and I didn't consider the crossover type. But even so, crossovers are easy to change out and finding the right Khorn nearby isn't always the easiest thing to do. I do understand the condition doesn't make this the "right Khorn" for many, so completely understand your point of view. Thanks for clearing that up.
