Originally walnut, veneered in rosewood upon reciept, then painted black five years ago. Original sound. Great condition. My son lives in North Myrtle so I search that CL all the time looking for deals. Mr. @CLC 4544does not yet have a CL ad made up yet. I suggest he check what the competition in that area is asking for similar speakers. I'm trying to be delicate here and helpful to his sale. Occasionally I'll see them offered at $500. eBay is a great source to see what Heresy I's are selling for. Hope this helps. If you want to go the the technical /modifications section of the forum and scroll down until you find the thread started by ClaudeJ1 titled, Super Heresy1(baby Cornwall) and go to page 6 or 7, you will see photos of Heresy's I bought last week in Georgia for about $500.
