Terry Palmer
Has anyone had any luck with LED Projectors? If so what brand and model? Looking for one that gives a good bright sharp image in low ambient/dark rooms. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
vasubandu
Hey, a few breakthrough models just came out at CES. Short throw -- really really short throw is the name of the game. Check out the LG one at the top https://www.engadget.com/2018/01/04/lg-4k-projector-ces-2018/ https://www.twice.com/product/ces-2018-optoma-wants-to-make-4k-projectors-more-accessible http://www.4kshooters.net/2018/01/09/ces-2018-sony-unveils-the-premium-lspx-a1-4k-ultra-short-throw-projector/ http://www.lgnewsroom.com/2018/01/lgs-award-winning-4k-uhd-projector-to-debut-at-ces-2018/

tromprof
My first projector was a LED 720p LG. It was a pretty good projector and trouble free in the 2 years or so I owned it. When I went to 1080p LG did not offer anything competitive, but if they did I would have given them a hard look. I liked the fact that there was no lamp to burn out, and the colors were quite good. Terry Palmer
Yea? There’s a lot of really cheap ones being made. I tried on and it just wasn’t bright enough nor was the picture very sharp. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
