dm465531
When listening to tv or movies the sound coming out of the center channel seems to be weighted (originating) either right or left of center. Has any one had this problem before? I set 9 ft directly infront of the speaker. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Dave
wuzzzer
I believe it is what's called a 2.5 way design. Not all the woofers handle the same frequencies. I guess if you sat close enough and paid attention you may be able to audibly hear that.
dm465531
Thanks for the reply. I was not sure if this speaker had a crossover set up this way. I am not sure why i am noticing it but it just seems to be more pronounced than I am used to.I figure 9ft away would be enough to mitigate this but I guess not. So the only real answer is to sit further away from the speaker?
Boilermaker86
What do you have for front left and right speakers? Could it be the imaging of the fronts projecting on the center? I had that issue when I didn’t have the front left and right speakes the right angle.
dm465531
I have the RP-280FA and they are pointed directly at the mlp. Should I change that? When listening to stereo presentations the sound seems like it is coming from the center of the room like it is supposed to.
