La Scalas finally in new system

Recommended Posts

After a long personal battle I have finally fit a set of amazing cherry veneered La Scalas into my 2 channel system and am showing it off. I hope for feedback. Thank you all for your input early in this process!

great looking system. once you get to the LS, you have to give up large amounts of space &/or cash to get noticeable improvement in sound. IMHO

what was the first song you played once they were in place.

Congratulations, they look fantastic in your room. They are THE heritage speaker I hope to have someday.

In feedback you mean offer suggestions?

If possible, spread them apart another foot or so.  Not much imaging unless you are going nearfield and sitting on floor about 4 feet from audio stand.

Suggestions and feedback... definitely try different spacing and placements. Also, emotiva works well but is a compromise.

Great choice on speakers...did you buy those new or used?

They look good from here but seems they're pointed toward the rear of your couch, are they your rear surround speakers?

Nice room, awesome speakers....congrats. I agree about spreading them out a little. It's fun to play with the placement of speakers, it's cool to hear the difference in sound based on placement.

@Browning

Like that den you've got, cool collection and classic colors... if you've got the space.

Nice looking room, no need to center them on the equipment rack, at least move the left one over more, if possible. Like other said, play with placement, nice choice of speakers.

Almost forgot, Welcome
