DerKommisar
Does anyone know what type of bolt the threaded sockets accept beneath the base plate where you install spikes on the RP28F?
moray james
most are the standard 1/4"-20 threads per inch. that's what all your furniture glides are. ramset studs work the beds case hardened steel they are designed to penetrate up to 1/4" steel they are perfect, much better than large cone type spikes. the spike has to penetrate the jute backing on your carpet to get to the wood floor underneath and large points cannot do that. As a result with cones you end up floating up on the jute. hope this helps see link below. http://www.ramset.ca/product/39/threaded-stud-pins
DerKommisar
Thanks! The supplied spikes were so blunt. Not sharp at all.
