DizRotus
My son is considering several Denon AVRs to use for TV, movies, gaming, and, sadly, music. IMO, AVRs and quality 2-channel are oxymoronic. I’m looking for suggestions regarding units to consider, as well as units to avoid. He wants HDMI inputs, Bluetooth and a remote. His h/k 430, refurbished by a technician member of this forum, is for sale for $300 shipped to 48 states. He likes the look and sound of the 430 playing his Heresy 1s, but he wants to use the speakers with TV and needs a remote.
The History Kid
What's his budget, and does he need Atmos or HDR? Might be able to work out something on one of the Fusions I have with repairs.

The History Kid
It is, it might be getting a new home in the family room with a pair of Heresy I soon. It doesn't get shown off like it should back in my setup.
IMWhizzle
It’s also good to know the efficiency of the speakers, the lower the number the more power you need to drive them. Also adding a subwoofer helps to offload your avr.
DizRotus
The AVR issue has been resolved. Thank you for your input. He has several Denon choices within his budget that meet his requirements regarding power, HDMI, HDR, Bluetooth, Atmos, remote, etc. to drive his efficient Heresys and possibly a powered tapped horn sub.
