JoeM38
My wife is a patient person, but I did have Klipschorns before we got married. She just didn't know how many more I would collect over 20+ years or how big they would get...

mark1101
Those single MWMs are just awesome. Yours appear to be in great shape. In my opinion this is the very best sounding bass horn Klipsch ever made.
Dave A
OK this is off topic perhaps but since all you MWM owners are here I have a question. Are these good for deep organ and Cello music? Is there any reason I can't build a false corner and stand these up on end to save space?

We have a pair of one piece LSI with fiberglass and trim. He would love a full MCM stacks.

Forum member Marvel posted Klipsch info on standing MWMs against the wall. It does make them go lower but cuts down the upper frequency. mark1101
So they are oriented with mouth pointing toward the floor?
JoeM38
looks like they would be flat against the front wall pointing down and spaced up off the floor with the extension.
Dave A
What I was contemplating was using a right or left side to reduce the footprint. This would in time be paired with two Pro La Scalas so I am not worried about higher notes.

So would this be pointed to the side wall on one side only?

Dave A
No these would be pointing to the front with whatever speakers I use them with.
Marvel
I see no reason why they couldn't stand in a verticle orientation. We were going to try that with the doubles at the college, but plans changed and they are stuck in storage and I no longer work there. Did you get the singles with k43 woofers? That would keep me from driving up to get them. Bruce

I'm considering trying this with 3 doubles for the front with the side ones standing up. That's a project for much later....
