According to reports, a passenger on a Transavia Airlines flight from Dubai to Amsterdam had let rip a few times, much to this disgust of those seated nearby. As we learned from a report from Dutch masthead De Telegraaf there were two men seated in the same row who turned their noses up at the flatulence. “Among other things, they complained about an older man who left smelly farts,” the Google translated report reads. And if this report from The Mirror is to be believed, the alleged farter continued dropping his guts despite the cease and desist requests from the two male passengers. Things apparently escalated, flight attendants became involved and the pilot had to land the plane. Yep. A pilot stopped the plane because of farts When the plane landed in Vienna, Austria, police climbed on board with dogs and removed the two men along with two sisters sitting nearby. Footage of this was posted to Twitter be Alfred Dekker, which has since appeared on countless viral news sites throughout the globe. Nora Lachhab told De Telegraaf she and her sister didn’t know the two men also escorted off the plane, with the report identifying all four removed passengers as being Dutch and of Moroccan descent. “We happened to be in the same row, but did not do anything to justify the bizarre behavior of the Transavia crew,” Lachhab said. “Do they sometimes think that all Moroccans cause problems?” The airline confirmed the four were not charged as they hadn’t broken any laws but backed the decision of the crew. A statement from the airline said Transvia were open to communication with the women but said that, “according to our crew there was a good reason for all four to get them offboard”.
