rebuy
OK--I have a Polk Sub with a Foam Surround. It's a very big surround. I'm concerned about dry rot. So I have a car product from Mothers I use and since it's safe all around the car for almost anything. I was considering using it on the foam surround to keep it moist and more pliable. The product is Vinyl, Leather, Rubber, It is a great car product and I want to keep the surround moist and pliable--No Dry Rot. Here's a pic of both. What do you think? derrickdj1
It most likely won't do any harm. A good bit of time on the net will lead you to some good products to protect meatal, wood, veener, rubber and whatever else is in the system.
CECAA850
Is it actually foam or rubber?
RoboKlipsch
I had an auto detailing company. I would look for a product that protects only. The cleaning chemicals will dry it out a bit before the protection portion works. Similar to how to polish and wax a car....turtle wax combines cleaner and polish and wax....not as good as separate products.

Nothing wrong with it now, I'm trying to do a preventative measure to avoid future issues with this driver.
