xfean Posted March 15, 2018 Share Posted March 15, 2018 Hi, I've recently bought a subwoofer R-8SW which is now connected to a Yamaha receiver RX-V683. Every time I turn on the subwoofer I hear a quite loudy THUMP noise and when I turn off the subwoofer I can hear a small POP noise. This happens even with the receiver disconnected.
