I do own and I’m very pleased with my RP280’s. I could use some input from those who know more. So I can help him out. If not I’ll recommend something else. Thanks. They are fantastic speakers, have a ton of bottom end and can crank to extreme levels without any ear fatiguelike their predecessor, the original RF-7. They have a very smooth, laid back sound. I can't say anything negative about them. I sold the RF-83 for $1000 and the RC-64 for $500 but this was a few years ago. I had an RT-12d, believe I sold it for around $650. willland Posted March 21, 2018 Share Posted March 21, 2018 If that "complete RF-83 home theater" comes with a minimum of 2 RF-83s, 1 RC-64, 4 RS-52s, and 1 RT-12d, then $2500.00 is a steal for a very fine setup.
