When I opened them up I found that the K55V midrange drivers have been replaced with K-52H drivers and the crossovers have been modified to E-2. Just what do I have. That sounds like they were upgraded to 1985+ Heresy 1.5 configuration. We have dubbed the transition models from HI to HII as H1.5s. That is not an official designation. Around 1981, the magnet material for K-55-Vs got scarce and so did the drivers. New ones were found. K-52H was one of the alternatives. carlthess40 Posted March 24, 2018 Share Posted March 24, 2018 I’ve Ben trying to find a pic of one. I don’t have a set of 2 or 3’s any longer. I liked the 1’s the best out of the 3 models so I’ve sold off the others.
