Maximus89 Posted April 5, 2018 Share Posted April 5, 2018 I want to have my Chorus II grills shipped together to have the newer factory Klipsch 70th anniversary silver grill cloth applied, but i don't know how to go about packing it so it doesn't get damaged in the process since they don't have the original Chorus II grill frame mold. If mine get damaged in shipping, i'm screwed. Anyone have experience shipping large speaker grills before? How did you package them safely while limiting cost of shipping? JohnKuthe Posted April 5, 2018 Share Posted April 5, 2018 I'd imagine you'd get some thin rigid sheets of something to cut to the same size as your speaker grills and put one on each side of the grill and duct tape them into one amorphous protected mass and ship it! I was thinking using foam that protects the corners of tv's in the packing as i recently bought a new tv, and still have those, but that will probably make it too thick.
