fuzzydog
Looking for some recommendations for setting up a theater in a office building. The space is 22'-5" x 22'-10" with 14' high ceilings (roughly 7,100 CF). I imagine that our team will want in-wall speakers for a clean look, but i have no experience with the Klipsch in-wall offerings. The room will likely be outfitted with a projector and screen that drops down in front of a white board. At a minimum i'd like to get 5.1 in the room, but preferably 7.1. Any suggestions? carlthess40
Klipsch makes some outstanding in-wall speakers and subs. They cost a little more then Polk or mtx but they will last for years and don’t need a ton of power like a lot of the other brands. Worth a look at and you won’t be disappointed with them But I would also look at the Dayton audio line from parts express. You will need a little more power but that do have a very nice sound and the have a great line of in wall subs as well and they are a lot less money and not cheap crap You can email me if you care to. I may be able to help out with info about the audio gear and stuff. And I also have some nice amps that are for that type of installcarlthess@yahoo.com
fuzzydog
This is being funded by our company so i'm sure we'll be buying all new equipment and less sensitive to price. I was thinking about spec'ing out three of these for LCR: Is there any issue with setting the center horizontally on this model? http://www.klipsch.com/products/thx-ultra2-in-wall-speakers?model=pro-7800-l-thx And these for surround duty: http://www.klipsch.com/products/thx-ultra2-in-wall-speakers?model=pro-7800-s-thx

I personally can't imagine any issues with a horizontally mounted in-wall. That is exactly what I did in my normal TV viewing area. I have three KL-6502-THX speakers (L/C/R) with one horizontal under the monitor http://www.klipsch.com/products/kl-6502-thx-in-wall-speaker Nice touch on the edge to edge grills. Should look nice.
