The worse Pop song of all time?

I have to throw my $0.02 with all the Whitney Houston fans, er, haters. I used to work in a department store in the early 90's and the Musac we had to pipe in was God-awful. As the only "rocker" in the place, when I was opening or closing, filling out the night's recipts, etc, the local rock station got tuned in. I had the joy of working there when "Bodyguard" came out, so her theme song, "I will always love yooouuuuuu" was big on all the airways. Sometimes I got lucky enough to hear it 3-4 times over a 12-hour shift! Enough to drive someone postal! Even now, I can't listen to ANYTHING from Whitney!

You know, I used to run a mini-me web site (don't go looking for it; I just took it down the other day). As part of the mini-me motif, I made "Mini-Me's songbook." Lyrics and MIDI files of what I hoped were the sappiest pop songs ever made. The sort of things that made you cringe.

Alone Again, Naturally (Gilbert O'Sullivan)

You Light Up My Life (Debbie Boone)

Don't Cry for Me, Argentina

Take a Chance on Me (Abba)

Sugar (The Archies)

To Sir, With Love (Lulu)

I Think I Love You (Partridge Family)

and, of course, "It's a Small World"

You cannot believe the amount of web traffic I got from people searching for the lyrics to those tunes.
