314carpenter
I am not currently interested in Whole Home, so I have only these 2 options today. Please chime in at will though. I will be purchasing either shortly for my main system (listed below) The Furman is the better brand, higher cost, available at a savings of $173.29 over retail. Has longer durability without being MOV self sacrificial. 4 high current outlets. 15amp in/out The APC is the more publicly know unit, lower cost, but still at a retail price. Good joule rating, but lower overall durability. Has automatic voltage correction in 3 settings. 2 high current outlets. 12amp in/out. Possibly 3 amps are reserved for A.V.R. reserve? http://www.furmanpower.com/product/conditioner-power-ht-15a-dual-meter-ELITE-15 DM I http://www.apc.com/shop/us/en/products/APC-AV-Black-1-5kVA-H-Type-Power-Conditioner-120V/P-H15BLK ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Main system : Panasonic TC-P60ST60 plasma; Denon AVR-X6200W; Outlaw 5000; Klipsch RSW-10 sub; modified Klipsch Chorus II Fronts; modified Klipsch Forte II center; modified Klipsch Chorus II surrounds; modified Klipsch Academy rear heights; JBL L20T3 front heights; Mogami 10ga speaker cables, Mogami interconnects; custom gaming pc Secondary system LG 47" LCD; Onkyo tx-nr818; JBL 240Ti Fronts; JBL L40T3 Center; JBL L100T3 Surrounds; Mogami cables; custom htpc/server.
