Thanks Ken Wow, those look to be in excellent condition based upon the tag photo. Very little to no fading of the original ink. Those appear to be manufactured on the 85th day of 1963 - Speaker number 149. Hopefully the other is either 148 or 150 so you have a matching, consecutive numbered pair. Yep, 55 year old speakers and surely still sounding awesome.
JohnA
"DATES DESCRIPTION EXAMPLE 1984-1989 YYWW#### 89261234 YY = year (e.g. 89 = 1989) WW = week of the year (e.g. 26= last week in June) The WW can also be a single digit for weeks 01 through 09; e.g. 877#### (mid February 1987)" Looks like the 6th week of 1985. Moderators dtel Posted April 29, 2018 Moderators Share Posted April 29, 2018 Walnut oil, a good oiling would make them look better. Inspected by Robert Wyatt,= bodark, we were just talking about him in another thread, nice guy.

mustang_flht
Here we use linseed oil for wood, do not put too much and wipe with a soft cloth the rest. To listen to Robert Wyatt on your Klipsch, I recommend this LP from 1974 https://www.discogs.com/fr/Robert-Wyatt-Rock-Bottom/release/388615
