afraid
Snap! Crackle! Pop! Took 3 months to get back my receiver from the dealer. Replaced EVERYTHING in that sucker. iMac was DOA, got a new one. Never ever connect your iMac to a high powered receiver, unless you love pretty little fires burning through the faceplate. Smell that lime green iMac burn.... been warned nate ------------------ Yamaha 595a Klipsh SB-1 (front left and right) Toshiba SD -3109 dvd player Zenith 27" TV

kenratboy
I'm sorry, but this is the COMPUTER section, iMAC's belong somewhere else, far, far away. If you hooked everything properly (low level out to low level input) it should have worked. OH I KNOW! Apple was trying to "BE DIFFERENT" so they changed the line in so it could only accept a phono level in. So for any normal line in's, you have to run them reverse through a phono preamp. I hoped that helped.
