Denon PMA 1080R, TU 800, and DCM 440 $300

Recommended Posts

Selling my Denon Rig.  I have owned this for the past few years, and used this to power my tangent 500's.

Picked these up from a forum member here.  Also includes the remote (not pictured).

$300.  Located in eastern central Florida.

Folks,

This is a steal.  I previously owned this rig and it's primary use was driving a pair of Quartets.  It was an incredible combination.  I sold the Denons to Kimba after selling the Quartets for fuel $$$ for a trip to Chicago.  I totally regret selling any of it.  The Denon integrated amp, PMA-1080R is one sweet piece that really thumps with fast punchy bass drive and the midrange and highs are very detailed with little coloration at all.  I highly recommend this rig for anyone with a pair of Heresys, Fortes, Quartets, Chorus, and even Cornwalls.  You will be stoked at the sound that comes to your ears.

Kimba, good luck with your sale.

If you're on the fence, look at the specs of that integrated 1080r.  Very, very clean power.   I still own that CD changer model which I bought new and its still kicking as well.  Someone is going to get a heck of a good sounding stereo setup.

I have been saying this all along.  I owned this exact stack, as mention earlier, and it is incredible sounding and a huge performance bargain.
