Zen Traveler
One of my favorite go-to reference compilation video disks is Peter Gabriel's PLAY DVD, which has all of his singles. It sounds EXCELLENT on the Home Theater in my sig and this song really is interesting in all it's complexity. From the lyrics, to song, to concept of the video, it sure is an inspired piece of work and if you have the original 5.1 version should be played at loud volume:
Schu
PG is great... just awesome. His lyrics work on so many levels, the subtext is inspiring. Peter Gabriel is one of my personal favorites.

The album So might be the best album ever created. 8 hours ago, Zen Traveler said: I agree and the Growing UP and Secret World blu ray concerts are both excellent! I have his "UP" SACD which is a good multichannel disc but no longer have any CDs of his material. Both concerts I mentioned are good along with"Live in Athens 1987," which I will put third in my list. I also have "New Blood Live in London," which was done with a symphony, but not one that I could get into watching....Gotta check out the one in Verona. Thanks for the head's up.

Speaking of which, I recently discovered this thing my wife has called "Amazon Prime." 😲 That's the shit and I purchased several Blu ray concerts I already had including, Talking Heads Stop Making Sense and Gabriel's Secret World Live and both are better than the DVD, pic/sound-wise.

The conundrum is how to respond after being engaged and finding the message profound and most people going on to the next distraction--What a show, oh what a show...It's our show. Moderators dtel Posted July 13, 2018 Moderators Share Posted July 13, 2018 Have to go against the grain here, can't stand him. I bought one DVD Secret World live, but after watching I gave it to someone who came over one day. It was not the music so much as it was him, he is a drama queen, everything overacted and dramatized, it fits about perfect with most of these videos. I guess that's why he was called a Theatrical leader of Genesis ?

That goes for many musicians, and movie stars, went to see the Eagles a few years ago it was great except for the 15 minute political speech in the middle. I guess they think people care what they think, no, just do what made you famous and made the audience show up. Eric Clapton's concert was also different, he came out and said hello and said thank you at different times during the show and at the end said good night, thank you, Except for singing he said maby a total of 10 words.
