Now you made Thebes pull his hair out...

Yeah, but Sgt. Pepper just might be the winner.

Or could it be one of my personal favorites, Beach Boys Pet Sounds, which according to the Beatles themselves, inspired Sgt. Pepper?  I dunno.

Just listened to Close to the edge on MOFI vinyl last night by the way.

I might do that this morning. I dont remember being blown away by the quality though, it been a long time since I listened to that Mofi.

the 5.1 disc is very nice however.

Agreed. Quality could be better. It is however the best of MY copies.

Wow! You lucky dog! Tried to get a replacement copy last year mine had the identical issue that a guy on the other side of the globe had with his. Both made by friday music, good quality sound but impossible very acute warp and noise at the beginning of side two. Landed a mofi cd but it can't compete with vinyl!

Karajan, Berlin Phillharmonique.  Duetch Grammafone.  The best conductor in the world conducting one of the best symphonic orchestras in the world on an album with fantastic production value.

That's from memory, not from Google.  Forgive the poor spelling I'm sure.

Great buy on Warner CD. Not DG but got this 2 months ago and am very impressed.

Deja Vu (remastered)

Rock, well written songs, harmonies and a Joni Mitchell cover.

You beat me to it! One of my top 5 all-time! Still listen to it damn near every day.

I have my old original copy and a MOFI vinyl pressing but my Classic Records 200 gram Quiex vinyl copy is always my go-to.
